Woooow... I love this campaign!!! Music is perfect, landscapes are beautiful and words very well used. For me, as in this ad, guest is a key part of the Hospitality. Ritz Carlton invites us to an unforgettable and warm experience through dreams and sharing. The purpose is to outperform all guests' expectations. That's the hospitality!
It's a nice commercial, but it's quite long ! I guess this is the spot produced for cinema broadcasting... The concept is to play with feelings, emotions to create a smooth and dreaming atmosphere... The viewer is traveling through the video, the imagination does the rest... Ritz Carlton is launching here a great campaign, they are selling "unforgettable memories", but I'm thinking that this is also most of their competitors' speech... what is really Ritz Carlton Unique Selling Point?
First of all I find it way too long ! and the text is always at the same place which is a bit annoying after a few minutes reading. But I like the way it makes us dream, the campaign is all about service. I like that fact that they stress out the importance to make the guest feel unique.
That is great but too long and there is too much to read, we can't appreciate images. They should focus on 3 ideas. Otherwise it conveys really the feeling that we are unique, that they would realize our dreams...!
I really enjoyed watching the video even if it was a bit too long! They are touching everyone feelings with this mass of different univers and topics. You really feel like drem is possible, you want to believe than you can trust them for anything you want. You don't have the impression to look an advertisement either!

I've been strongly influenced, as well as my other fellows that Ritz Carlton doesn't need and won't do any kind of commercial. Well, here is the opposite example of it. How much does it cost this commercial?
The ad basically sums up what customer service should have been since ages... so I do not think it is particularly creative, although it is beautifully directed. It might have been better to show the real experiences as told by the Ritz Carlton's customers rather than what the hotels can offer (i.e. realistic / documentary ad style). That said, if there is only one hotel chain that could be able to achieve the level of service that is advertised here, it is certainly the Ritz Carlton.
I do agree with others on the fact that the ad is too long which makes it boring at the end. Images are great but I think they go too far and you forget what they are really selling you. It is so dreamy too me that it becomes almost unrealistic.
I like the video but it is obviously too long to make it an add!! I especially enjoy the images. Concerning the text, unfortunately it is very difficult to be orginial as all the hotel chains focus on service...
I find this advertisement really great...It gives a very beautiful presentation of all the services of the hotel and makes it more specific and personal...
