Getting Started

Welcome - the purpose of this course is to make your MBA life easier...save time using Net tools, make thesis research faster + be better equipped for the job market, upon graduation.

First, you have to get set up - that's today's work!

1. Create a Gmail account that you will use ONLY for school work, subscriptions + testing platforms and tools.


2. Take the inital assessment  Group A linked here
     Group B - Survey here


3. Create a blog on Blogger using the Gmail account that you set up
     ****Don't wory how it looks at the moment****You can always change designs/colors, etc.
           Write a test post + copy the blog link to email to me - each person's blog will be linked from 
           this blog.


4. From your Gmail account, please send me a link to your blog mbanetq@gmail.com

• Subject line = Your Name + Net Lit Blog
• Paste the link to your blog in the body - the link should look like this http://netlit2011.blogspot.com/

5. I will send you an invitation to Google Plus Circle - we'll use for Facebook-type sharing.

6. Using your Gmail address, set up a Twitter account


7. Using your Twitter account/Gmail address, set up an account on Seesmic - for use on your 
    smart phone.


Next steps - practice with the blog - text links + photo upload + video embed.
